Welcome to Embody Music Method!
Because this group is so young, the "Classroom" and "Calendar" tabs are still being developed. — I’ll be working on those courses/events. However, we encourage you to make posts in the community using the categories! As early members, you’ve locked in your membership for free (permanently). That being said, invite your friends to do the same before more courses and a price is added! Please reach out via DM if you have suggestions for the community, or specific questions.

Rhythm/note theory basic courses ready!
I've been busy working on the basic rhythm and note theory courses. While they are not complete, they are ready for people to start learning on! I will be adding videos to make learning the concepts easier, but as of now, I am very happy with them. They include the following: Rhythm Theory Basics Course: Overview "Rhythm Basics" folder: Numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 1:2 and 1:3 2:3 Polyrhythm 3:4 Polyrhythm Music Theory Basics Course: Overview "Basic Scales" folder: Need To Know First Scales - Pentatonic Major and Minor Scales "Chords and Keys" folder: What's the Difference? Chord Formulas Notation Final Practice I hope you enjoy and learn from these courses I've worked on. They include how to practice each important checkpoint and will help you build the perfect foundation for learning how to make music in the next course! Writing and improv course coming soon...

Important video just dropped in the classroom!
As a jazz musician, being able to subconsciously feel 4 of 4 subdivisions INDIVIDUALLY in different contexts is mandatory. In fact, this is true for most music. The 3:4 polyrhythm is extremely helpful when learning this foundation in rhythm. It teaches us the different ways 4 subdivisions are felt, in relation to 1. You can now access the 3:4 polyrhythm in the 1234 Rhythm course!

HELLO EVERYONE
Am new here I’m a professional songwriter and song creator, and I help artists strengthen their lyrics, melodies, and overall song structure so they can produce music that connects with listeners and stands out.
This is definitely me in my wiser years!
Age truly is, just a number. Here is yet another great interaction between strangers, without the use of words! I’m not positive, but this might be the same guitarist as my last post. Either way, I’ve never been more inspired to jam with people like this… … Coming soon?… Grandpas got moves!: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DI6naflsQ6s/?igsh=MTRzaXoyNzgwcWk1dA==
