I started out trying to share a baseball story.
What I ended up building was a story system.
The image of a boy discovering an old cap in an attic isn't really about baseball.
It's a framework:
🏠 Discovery (The Attic)
🧢 Identity (The Cap)
⚾ Transformation (The Memory)
📖 Meaning (The Lesson)
🌟 Legacy (The Audience)
The audience isn't connecting to the cap itself.
They're connecting to the moment they discovered their own dream.
I'm realizing that the strongest story brands aren't built around characters or plots.
They're built around repeatable emotional journeys that allow people to see themselves in the story.
Curious if anyone else has found themselves accidentally building a story system when they thought they were building a piece of content?
