The Sport Biologist Collective is for people seeking a more adventurous and explorative outdoor lifestyle.
My educational background is in sports science and exercise physiology, but I also hold a second master’s degree in wildlife conservation. I was a former NCAA D1 ski racer, and raced mt. bikes at the professional level. I have won numerous running trail races, including a trail marathon in New Zealand. I previously worked as a sports science researcher at the University of Potsdam in Germany. I am an adjunct professor of exercise science and physical education at Mercer County Community College, and I now work full-time as a PE teacher (K-12) and coach soccer, ski racing, and mountain biking.
You do not need to be a conservation expert or a hardcore athlete. You only need to care about moving well outdoors in creative ways and learning more about the landscapes that make it possible.
If you think this resonates with you, you should join this community.
