Following the Shark Slipper 🥿

Just reviving this group a bit because I wanted to ask if any of you have experienced something similar … these kinds of stories are honestly my favorite. ❤️ 😂

Rey has a story where he’s camping and basically everything keeps going “wrong.” At one point he loses his slipper in the stream and spends all this energy trying to control the situation and catch up to it… until he finally just surrenders to God. And then somehow, the slipper is revealed to him.

I feel like God/life gives us these little examples of a much bigger truth. Like tiny previews showing us that sometimes the plan unfolding takes time, trust, and letting go.

Have you ever experienced something like this? A moment where you kept trying to force or control something, finally surrendered, and then life/God rewarded you in a way you didn’t expect?

I think I might be in the middle of one big version of this right now, so I’ll report back after the dust settles 🤣 I do have a similar car story where I ended up with a newer engine for free! Also on my way going to spend time with nature, huh 🤔

Also, I’ve noticed a lot of these stories seem to involve jobs. Getting fired, quitting, losing everything… apparently that’s the express lane to spiritual awakening 😭🤣
