This awesome plugin helps identify what key you’re in and what the bpm is of any song.
Listening to YouTube on your Google Chrome browser?
No problem!
Just press “Listen” and with 5 seconds you’ll not only have the key of the song but also the bpm.
This can be great if you’re struggling to identify what key your acapella is in? A song a client sent you or even wanting to know what an original song off YouTube is in in case you’re wanting to remix it.
Of course, nothing beats understanding the basics of music knowledge if you see yourself on this career for the long run but having said that, there’s many successful music producers who still don’t acquire the basic technical understandings of key signatures.
Mixed in key live has helped so many of my students get a quick easy answer and less time making silly mistakes like adding a bass in A minor and a vocal in E major!
This plugin acts as a widget in the top part of your computer desktop and is a great asset to have in your toolbox!
