Training Tuesday.
Training Tuesday, A Gentle Reminder to Move
In a world that asks us to sit more than ever,
our bodies quietly ask us to do the opposite.
The phrase “sitting is the new smoking” may be dramatic,
but it points toward something important.
It’s not sitting that causes the issue,
it’s staying still for too long.
When we remain in one position, the body begins to stiffen, the mind can lose focus, and our natural energy starts to dip.
Movement brings us back to ourselves.
It doesn’t need to be structured or strenuous.
It can be as simple as standing up, rolling the shoulders, or taking a few mindful steps.
These small acts are powerful.
They remind the body that it is alive, adaptable, and designed to move.
Today, listen to those quiet signals,
and respond with kindness through movement.
