Scholarship Advice
Real talk for the Spark-ED community.
Most of you know how to write a scholarship application.
Not enough of you are preparing for what comes after.
The interview is where funded students separate from qualified ones.
And it is a completely different skill than writing an essay.
Here is the one question I want every one of you to practice out loud this week:
"Why do you deserve this scholarship over everyone else being considered?"
Do not type the answer.
Say it. Out loud. To someone who will tell you the truth about how it landed.
The version that comes out under real pressure is the version that will come out in the room.
