Every 6 months we select just 10 members to form Special Teams.
These teams will operate privately and at higher levels than the rest of the base level Chess Command.
You will be expected to maintain high standards and progress.
There will be team targets that you have to hit as well as your personal goals.
Teams will train together, compete, and make sure that everyone on the team succeeds.
In-person meet-ups are expected for training and planning.
There will be a lot of cool stuff being arranged for Special Team members...
You will attend rated tournaments together. You will train together. You will attend races together. You will workout and play casual training matches together. The list goes on and on. All alongside the usual schedule of hard trainings and meeting the team standard.
Chess Command Special Teams are not a safe haven. You will be expected to meet standards or you will be let go. Many other high level members will be primed to take your space if you lack effort, results, and engagement. That's harsh but it's also the reality of what will be required to represent the Special Teams within the Chess Command.
