Today Humanity celebrates Remembrance Day in the Commonwealth (Canada, U.K., Australia, for example), and Veteran's Day the U.S. and New Zealand.
Tears stream down my face, so often lately. In gratitude. In compassion. In love. And yes, fear, of what's to come if we collectively lose our ability to remember with honour, grace, and love those who sacrificed so much. Their lives. Their inner peace. Their minds. They did so for their families, friends, and future generations to live in peace. We must hold fast to this responsibility every day, because it is now ours to tend to with our hearts.
