I find it so comforting to know that I can still create something beautiful from little more than string. I wonder if 40 years ago my Grandmother had the same notion that gift giving came from a special place in our hearts where we made a little extra time to curate a specific item or experience for the people we love.

Now, half way through 2020 decade, gifting is much more centered around gift cards and tech. It is a world I'm not always suited for. I still enjoy the simpler things...
