LESS is MORE!
I started stripping back the plugin stacks and only concentrating on what matters and my mixes seem to come out cleaner, bigger and definitely faster.
In fact, a client that I've been working with for years called me and said, "This is the best mix you've ever sent me!" - I'm sold. I'll be mixing like this a lot more.
You should try it. Just strip everything out of your "Template" and start with a simple static mix - (Levels and Panning only) - You'll probably be 80% done just doing that.
Then, only add plugins where you think you might need a plugin. Don't insert a plugin just because you have it, or somebody on YouTube said that you have to.
You'll be amazed at the outcome. Give a try and let us know how it works for you.
Enjoy!
