Writing lyrics to keep interest
Lyrics are conversational, meaning if you were to take your lyrics and speak them to someone, face to face, they would be clear in saying what you want to say. Face to face, and naturally. This is why I promote, speaking from the heart in your lyrics. It , is authentic and is easily heard and relatable by others.
Try this in your next writing session or when ir comes to you to write.
As a line comes to you it can lead you the next one, easily because it’s from the heart.
Sharing moments in time about your situation, or reflecting what just happened in your relationship is a good start to "telling " someone in a lyric. Melody enhances the message.
Next we will talk about how melody fits into all this, because that is "key" ...lol
