This post is spurred in part by some conversation that came up in the UNRECORDED 🙄🖕😭… Pleasure Break this afternoon... Sorry y'all ❤️🕺🍑
I’ve been thinking about how many men were trained to protect by fixing, rescuing, controlling, or stepping in with aggression. 🤺🥷🏼🍒
🧘🏼♀️ 🌈 But what happens when protection is no longer about saving someone from life?
Maybe the deeper work now is learning how to hold a healthy container. ❤️🔥🫙❤️🔥
🫶🏼 To bring strength without domination.
🔥 Fire without damage.
🤗 Presence without control.
🕺🐒 I don’t think masculinity needs to disappear. I think it needs to mature.
‼️⁉️ So I’m curious… these questions apply to men or women:
🧐 🌈 What does healthy protection look like to you now?
💗🍑 And where do you still feel the old training show up?
