If you told me five years ago that I'd be writing this post from Guatemala, I wouldn't have believed you. I've been traveling through this amazing country for almost 3 weeks now and it's been nothing short of life changing. I quit my corporate job back in September to pursue full-time solo travel, and now more than ever I feel called to share my experience with others. I want nothing more than to build a community of people who are ready to jump into the solo travel world and embrace opportunities for connection abroad✈️🌎 When I started solo traveling back in November 2023, I had absolutely no experience. I just had a strong feeling it was what I needed to do. Adventure called, and I answered🤷‍♀️ My first solo trip was in Europe, where I traveled through seven countries in 21 days😅 Since then, I've changed my approach and began traveling slower, seeking a more authentic and impactful experience. I've made mistakes, met lifelong friends, and have even brought others along on the journey! The one thing I know about solo travel is that you're never really alone. There are so many ways to meet people, but it’s easiest if you know where to look! That's where I come in. Consider me your newest travel companion👋.
