Welcome to Smile Foundry!👋
Read this post to make the most out of the community. - The big picture: I started this group so people on their dental remodeling journey can have a place to find guidance in the process, answers when they need them, a view ahead and direction for what they can’t yet see. And last but not least, be in a room with others who get it. People often have different aesthetic and functional goals in mind when they approach a process like this, which all aim at the same post: creating enough room for your tongue, as well as arch symmetry. The two paths this leads to: 1. Serving as the base of support necessary for fundamental airway and posture dynamics in the body. Essentially, dropping the handicap. 2. Width and curve alignment that are custom to your body lead to a beautiful smile that is fitted to your genetics. It naturally fills up the buccal corridor and is what high end smile design is all about. 22 months ago I went into a manual version of this process. Thankfully I had the necessary free time on my hands and was rigorous enough with feedback loops that I was able to piece it in and secure the width point I needed by month 9. Since then I kept going. To gain deeper understanding of different components in the process, top off quality, and make the outcome repeatable and predictable for others. If you’re willing to put in the work, I’ll show you how in this group. - Communicating in the group: This is a share-zone. As short or long as you want or need. I’m here to help. What good looks like: asking a question, sharing a win, an update, something you figured out that might help someone else, taking ownership of a situation, responding to someone in a helpful way, etc. Avoid: opposites of good, self promotion, taking the wind out of someone's sails. - Live sessions I'll occasionally be going live to get tactical with your questions. Check the calendar event for the precise time for your location. Access the event by clicking the reminder at the top of the community tab, or by heading to the Calendar tab. You can also add it to your calendar.
