SkoolAid ("SkoolAid," "we," "our," or "the Extension") provides productivity and community-management tools for Skool.com users, including affiliate link tools, AI drafting, scheduling, messaging automation, CRM workflows, memberships, webhooks, media attachments, and optional voice/GIF workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected/processed, how it is used, where it is stored, and when it is shared.
1) Scope and Applicability
This policy applies to data processed by the SkoolAid Chrome Extension while you use supported Skool features and connected integrations.
2) Information We Collect and Process
SkoolAid processes the following categories of information:
A. Account and Community Context (while you are signed in to Skool)
Community/group metadata (e.g., IDs, names, slugs, member counts)
Member profile data needed for features (e.g., display names, profile URLs, IDs)
Post/comment/message metadata used for scheduling, auto-reply, CRM, welcome, and membership workflows
B. User-Provided Inputs
Affiliate/referral URLs and generated share links
Scheduled posts, scheduled DMs, welcome sequences/templates, cross-post content
CRM notes, labels, tags, and template content
Membership request settings, webhook URLs, and automation settings
Contest reminder and gamification settings
API keys and integration settings you choose to store (for example OpenAI and optional Giphy key)
C. Technical and Operational Data
Extension settings, feature flags, and runtime state
Cache/snapshot data used for performance and job continuity
Webhook delivery/test logs and status records
Error/status information needed for diagnostics and reliability
D. Media and Attachment Data
File metadata and attachment references needed to support media posting
Optional GIF references/URLs selected through GIF search features
Optional voice-note/media references and generated output links when voice tools are used
E. Cookies and Auth Context
Chrome cookie access for Skool domains to authenticate Skool requests while you are logged in
3) Chrome Permissions and Why They Are Used
SkoolAid uses only permissions needed for extension features, including storage, active tab/context actions, clipboard write, alarms/notifications, side panel UI, and cookies (Skool authentication context).
4) How We Use Information
We use information to:
Provide extension features you enable (affiliate, posting, scheduling, CRM, memberships, automations)
Execute automations and workflow rules you configure
Generate AI content when you request generation
Process optional GIF, short-link, and voice/media workflows when invoked
Deliver webhook payloads to URLs you configure
Improve reliability using local persistence, job state, and operational logs
Troubleshoot failures and improve feature quality
We do not sell personal information.
5) Legal/Processing Basis (General)
Processing occurs to provide requested functionality, perform user-directed actions, support legitimate operational interests (security/reliability), and satisfy applicable legal obligations where required.
6) Where Data Is Stored
Data is primarily stored on your browser/computer using:
For settings, feature state, logs, snapshots, webhook configuration, usage state, and operational data.
For sync-enabled settings where applicable.
C. IndexedDB
For structured feature datasets (e.g., communities, calendar/scheduled items, welcome history, membership request records, CRM data, and cross-post records).
D. Browser Local Storage (UI convenience)
For small convenience values, such as remembered form inputs.
7) Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
SkoolAid shares data only as needed for features you choose to use:
Skool APIs / Skool domains
Used for community, membership, posting, inbox, and account-context functionality.
OpenAI API
Used for AI text generation features you explicitly invoke.
Linkila (URL shortening)
Used for optional short-link generation workflows (including generated short URLs such as Linkila-managed short domains).
Giphy (GIF search)
Used only when GIF search/selection features are used to find and attach GIF media.
Voice generation / voice media APIs
Used only when optional voice-note or voice-generation features are invoked, to process audio/media requests and return generated outputs.
Webhook/Proxy/Delivery services (including 2ez2 endpoints used by extension workflows)
Used to relay webhook payloads and related workflow traffic to destinations you configure.
Other optional endpoints you configure
Examples include your own webhook targets, SMTP/email services, and automation platforms.
We do not share data with unrelated ad-tech brokers.
8) Data Handling and Minimization
SkoolAid is designed to process only the data required for requested feature execution and configured automations. Optional integrations run only when used/enabled.
9) User Controls and Choices
You can:
Edit/delete saved settings in extension UIs
Remove stored API keys, webhook URLs, and integration values
Delete scheduled items/templates/CRM records from the extension
Disable optional features (e.g., webhook forwarding, optional media tools)
Use Chrome controls to clear extension storage or uninstall
Data already sent to third-party services or endpoints you configure is governed by those services’ policies.
10) Data Retention
Local extension data is retained as long as needed for enabled features, until you delete it, clear browser/extension storage, or uninstall the extension.
11) Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards appropriate for a browser extension context, including Chrome storage use, scoped permissions, and operational controls. No storage/transmission method is 100% secure.
12) Children’s Privacy
SkoolAid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly design features to target children’s personal data.
13) International Use and Transfers
If used outside the United States, processing may occur in regions where Skool and integrated service providers operate.
14) Chrome Web Store Compliance Statements
We disclose data categories and processing purposes in this policy.
We disclose external sharing/integration points used by extension features.
We do not sell personal information.
Users can control or remove extension data via extension/browser controls.
15) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material updates will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date and version.

17) Affiliate Programs and Sponsored Content
Important Disclosure: SkoolAid includes affiliate and sponsored content features.
A. Clear Disclosure of SkoolAid Affiliate Links
Some links and placements in SkoolAid (including featured placements) may be affiliate/sponsored links.
If a qualifying action occurs after a referral, the publisher may receive a commission.
Unless explicitly stated in an offer, this does not increase the user’s price.
B. User-Generated Affiliate Features
SkoolAid also allows users to paste, generate, and share their own affiliate/referral links.
You control which referral links you use and share.
You are responsible for complying with platform rules and applicable advertising/disclosure laws.
C. How Affiliate Programs Work
Referral links include attribution parameters/identifiers.
If a qualifying action occurs (per program rules), attribution may be credited.
Attribution windows, approvals, payout rules, and eligibility are set by the affiliate program operator.
SkoolAid does not guarantee conversions, commissions, or earnings.
D. User Control Over Affiliate Features
You may choose whether to use affiliate features.
You may edit/remove saved affiliate links at any time.
You may disable sharing/automation behaviors that rely on affiliate links.
