1st IRL Meetup Highlights!🥳
It’s almost midnight and I am SO full, in the best way possible ❤️ (video & photos below). I had the absolute joy of meeting some of our fellow IRL Skool Montreal community members and and I can’t stop smiling.
Below some highlights from my POV. William & Juan, feel free to add your own!
✨ We couldn’t stop talking about business, the tools we use, and our goals. and I literally left closer to..3pm, I think???
We were there since 10am 🤯 Honestly, this is something I’ve been craving for over a year.
☕️ We took a walk for a mini coffee break, grabbed coffee at Tour Deloitte, and returnes back to dive straight into talking about our goals.
🚀 Juan is sharpening his communication skills and figuring out what kind of Skool community he’ll build while growing his YouTube
🎬 William is working on developing ways to be more efficient for his clients’ YouTube edits.
👩💼 I am deciding which leadership topic to build my course around so it can create a steady stream of MRR.
🤭 We shot a potential Skool ad with William’s guidance ..you’ll have to wait and see about that one 🥳
📌 I gained clarity on which direction to take with my (other) Skool community
📌 I learned about Skool Magazine and Skool podcast - both curated by William
📌 I learned what "hopecore" videos are - Juan has seen great success with his previous faceless Youtube
📌 I learned there's an IRL Toronto Skool event hosted by Skools very own "mascot" Goose 🪿
But my biggest takeaway? How refreshing it is to sit down with people who share a similar drive, mindset and values.⚡️
I realized that what connects us here is more than business... it’s the philosophy behind Skool itself (and the people building it!). That’s what makes connections here so much more powerful.
I left feeling inspired, grateful, and more excited than ever about this community. We mighty me small right now but it just confirmed what’s possible when you put ambitious, like-minded people in the same room.
❤️ Can’t wait to see what’s next and meet all of you in our next IRL meet up (or online in between meetups to keep the momentum going??? WOULD YOU BE UP FOR THAT?).
