Most advice for overwhelm is useless in the moment.
You’ll hear things like
“Just breathe.”
“Think positive.”
“Take a break.”
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐟𝐮𝐥.
Because in that moment, you’re not looking for theory.
You’re looking for something that actually works so you can keep functioning.
That question came up on a call recently:
“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠?”
So I turned the tools we talked about and a few more into something simple.
Quick ways to interrupt stress, self-doubt, and nervous system overwhelm in real time so you can stabilize first…and then start rewiring the deeper patterns more permanently.
