Does Your About Page Ever Actually Ask? 🙋
Quick one for anyone selling memberships.
Have a look at your About page as if you'd just landed on it. Does it tell people who it's for? Does it show what changes for them? And does it ever actually ask them to join, in plain words?
A lot of pages do the first two well and then just stop. A list of features, a few nice photos, and the join button left to do all the work on its own.
In sales we'd call that going soft at the end. The person's interested, they've read this far, and nobody asks.
Three quick checks:
  1. The first line says who it's for, so the right people know straight away.
  2. There's one clear result they can picture, not ten features.
  3. The last line asks. "If that's you, come and join us."
Same goes for your welcome DMs and your upgrade posts. A clear ask isn't pushy. It's helping people decide.
That's the side of things we work on in Direct Sales Mastery, my community for anyone who sells for a living, Skool owners selling memberships included.
