"I'll Think About It" Usually Means a Question Is Missing 🤔
When someone says "I'll think about it", it's rarely about time. Something hasn't been answered yet, and they don't quite know how to say what it is. If you let them go away with it, the thinking happens without you, and the question never gets answered. So deal with it there and then: 1. Thank them. It's a fair thing to want to do. 2. Ask what they'd be thinking about. "Is it the product, the price, or something else?" 3. Listen properly. Most of the time it's one thing, and once you know what it is you can talk about it. 4. Answer it honestly, then ask again. "With that sorted, how do you feel about going ahead?" Done well, this isn't pushy. You're just making sure they decide with everything in front of them, while you're still there to help. Face to face, on a call or in the DMs, it works the same way. That's the side of selling we work on in Direct Sales Mastery, my community for anyone who sells for a living. What do you say when someone tells you they need to think about it? 👇

🏫 TURN A GOOD QUESTION INTO A USEFUL RESOURCE.
If the same question keeps appearing, your members are showing you what needs explaining. Answer it clearly. Make the answer easy to find. Point people to it when needed. What question do you find yourself answering again and again? #SkoolTip #HelpfulResources #CommunityBuilding

That's a great post! Simple and makes so much sense 🔥 Plug the problem... unless you WANT them to ask that question 🤔
Does Your About Page Ever Actually Ask? 🙋
Quick one for anyone selling memberships. Have a look at your About page as if you'd just landed on it. Does it tell people who it's for? Does it show what changes for them? And does it ever actually ask them to join, in plain words? A lot of pages do the first two well and then just stop. A list of features, a few nice photos, and the join button left to do all the work on its own. In sales we'd call that going soft at the end. The person's interested, they've read this far, and nobody asks. Three quick checks: 1. The first line says who it's for, so the right people know straight away. 2. There's one clear result they can picture, not ten features. 3. The last line asks. "If that's you, come and join us." Same goes for your welcome DMs and your upgrade posts. A clear ask isn't pushy. It's helping people decide. That's the side of things we work on in Direct Sales Mastery, my community for anyone who sells for a living, Skool owners selling memberships included. What's the last line on your About page? 👇

@Kay Sims Excellent! You could add to that. "Join up to get....", highlighting the benefit 🔥

@Kay Sims No. All I’m saying is that if you add a benefit to the call to action, there is a reason to click 😀

@Carmen Kritzinger He’s a clever little bugger isn’t he? I guess you’d need more than one brain to deal with 8 tentacles. Sounds like a nightmare! 🤣

I help anyone who sells for a living, face to face or online, sell like themselves and turn more conversations into sales, without the pushy stuff.
