Today reminded me why Sing and Serve exists.
What started as “just going in to sing” turned into real connection—laughter, emotion, participation, and moments that stayed with me long after I packed up and left. Music opened hearts, including mine.
I’m grateful for the people we shared songs with today, and for my friend Jim, who came along and added his voice to the room. Experiences like this reinforce that serving doesn’t require perfection—just presence.
As this community grows, we’ll keep talking about how others can do this too: different ways to serve, how opportunities come together, and how music (or simply showing up) can make a difference.
Thank you for being here. One song at a time. đź’›
