How is being a closer different from a traditional sales person?
Traditional sales person just wants to make a sale so they'll get the commission. Meanwhile a closer is making sure there's a pain that the product/service they're offering can help the potential client with.
In other words, the closer is asking questions until they have a clear understanding of the prospects situation and only then shows the potential client how their offer can solve the situation.
Meanwhile a sales person is pushy and doesn't care whether it helps or not as long as they get paid.
