SC-300 or Okta?
I’m looking into certifications to help boost my chances to get an interview.
I’m not sure if I should focus on SC-300 which is Microsoft’s Identity and Access Administration certification. This certification focuses on Entra ID, which resides in Microsoft’s cloud platform called Azure.
The other certification I’m looking at is Okta Certified Professional. This is an entry level IAM certification for Okta.
Both are good certifications. I have experience with both, although I have more experience with AD and Entra ID. I also have been supporting companies using Microsoft (Windows and Azure) for most of my 10 years in tech.
