MONDAY MYTH NUGGET
Myth: "My pet looks healthy, so they must be healthy."
Not always.
Dogs and cats are incredibly good at hiding illness. In the wild, showing weakness can make an animal vulnerable, so many pets don't show obvious signs until a condition has progressed.
Long before symptoms appear, there may already be changes happening beneath the surface:
  • Microbiome imbalances
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Nutrient deficiencies
  • Early organ stress
  • Metabolic changes
This is why functional testing can be so valuable. Instead of waiting for disease, it helps identify areas of dysfunction early, when nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted support may have the greatest impact.
Healthy isn't just what we see on the outside, it's what's happening on the inside.
At Simcha Hub of Pet Physiology, we believe education is the first step toward healthier, happier pets.
