I’ve really loved our theme this week. - noticing whats already there
It has actually taught me a lot.
I am a person who is always onto the next thing all the time. The next idea, the next task, the next thing to build, do or create. And this kind of gratitude has really helped me stop and have a look around me, in a metaphorical sense.
And there really is so much already there, all around us, all the time.
From glimmers, to kind invitations, to book launches, to noticing that every negative has a positive, and that there can’t really be one without the other and it's with gratitude that lesson came to me.
I’ve also been following the Artemis moon journey this week. I’ve always had a fascination with the moon, and yes… there it is. Every night. Whether we notice it or not.
That has definitely felt part of this week’s lesson for me too.
It was wonderful to track the progress of the four brave astronauts and watch their safe return from their farthest ever expedition. I watched the press conference with happy tears in my eyes as they spoke about their joy, their love, and their messages from the moon.
And through all of it, what kept coming through was gratitude.
I think that’s what I’m taking from this week most of all.
That so much of what matters is already here.
Sometimes we just need to pause long enough to notice it.
