Gentle Return
What tenderness looks like for you As we close our first week of Kindness & Compassion, we are carrying one question forward: What does kinness look like for you? Kindness is not always softness. It is not always warmth, agreement or reassurance. Sometimes it’s the way we tell the truth. The way we let our selves slow down. The way we stop asking ourselves to recover, decide, produce or understand everything immediately. Kindness can be practical. A meal. A boundary. An early night. A hand held out. A conversation delayed until both people have more capacity. It can also be the way we speak to ourselves when something has gone wrong. Not pretending it didnt matter. Not telling ourselves that everything happens for a reason. Simply refusing to add cruelty to pain. This week, we explored kindness without performance. We noticed that care doesn’t need an audience to make us look good. It can be quiet, imperfect and honest. Next week, we will move into: What Tenderness Looks Like for You Gentle Return prompts 1. Where did kindness appear quietly this week? 2. What did I need but struggle to ask for? 3. When did I treat myself with more care than I might have before? 4. Where am I ready to replace pressure with tenderness? 5. What would a tender beginning look like next week? Have a beautiful weekend, be kind to yourself and I’ll see you on the page Love always Silver

Catch a Kindness 📸 This week, we’re going on a mini photo hunt! Look around and spot one small thing that has made life easier, happier or more cared for today. It could be: - A cup of tea someone made - Dinner waiting - Your favourite snack saved for you - A fresh towel - A thoughtful note - Something fixed - A pet keeping you company - Something you did to look after yourself Take a quick photo and pop it in the comments. No setting up the shot or searching for the perfect picture - just point, click and share! Maybe someone did it for you. Maybe you did it for someone else. Maybe it is one of the ways you care for yourself. Tell us the kindness you caught. One sentence is plenty. INK WELL PROMPT FOR YOUR JOURNAL Which small acts of kindness make your day brighter than people might realise? Let’s see how many different kinds of kindness we can catch! 📸

What is one thing you are giving yourself permission to leave unfinished? This is a tricky one for me, as I usually like everything tied up in a bow! but if I'm honest I am going to say its a relationship. I feel like it is unfinished, as in I dont enjoy the way things are just now, but I cant really do anything about it so for that I give myself permission to let go and leave it - unfinished. I'd love to know if your giving yourself permission to leave one thing unfinished in your life?

What is the kindest thing someone has done for you recently? Last night I joined a call in a new skool group I joined last week, I almost didnt make the call as it was quite late for me but honestly I am so glad I did, we had a lovely chat, I got to know more about the group and at the end I was given the opportunity to learn some Reiki, this was such a beautiful moment and so kind of my Reiki master to offer up this free energy for me. 🫶🥰🙏
