Welcome. I'm Brett. I built this room because I needed one and didn't have it. A few years ago I was sitting on a rock, looking at the wreckage of a life I'd built, realizing none of it was what I actually wanted. What got me back wasn't a system. It was being met — by my father, by a priest, and through them by God. I'm here to walk with men to the moment they stop hiding. Three things about this place: Talking is the work. You can read everything here and change nothing. The men who get something from this are the ones who post — badly, half-formed, unsure. Say the true thing before you know how to say it well. Nobody's a project. You won't be fixed, diagnosed, or handed a plan. You'll be asked questions. That's the method. What's said here stays here. No exceptions. Your first step: go to Introductions and answer this — When was the last time you wanted something, and knew, without checking with anyone, that it was yours? If you can't remember, say that. It's the most honest answer most men have, and it's the right place to start.
The Wednesday Quesiton
What would change if you stopped performing? Not everything. Just what would change. You might be surprised how little of it is the life, and how much of it is you. Don't solve it. Just answer honestly, and read what the other men wrote.

New Episode This Morning
It's about the moment the signal comes back and says something you didn't want to hear — and what almost every man does next, which is turn it back down. Not off. Just enough to get through the day. Here's the question it ends on. I'll ask it properly tomorrow, but you can start carrying it now: What have you been afraid the signal would tell you, if you ever let it finish the sentence? The Wednesday Question
This one's from yesterday's episode. Most of us didn't lose the ability to want things. We lost the ability to catch the flicker — the song we were about to change, the order we scanned the table before placing, the free hour we filled because it was easier than deciding. A thousand tiny overrides, none of them worth noticing. Until one day you can't tell what you want at all. So: What's one small thing you wanted this week — and talked yourself out of before you even finished the thought? Small is the point. Not the career, not the marriage. The sandwich. The window seat. Don't solve it. Just answer honestly, and read what the other men wrote.
