Fun Fact Friday 😎
🍹 Fun fact: Cocktail umbrellas became popular during the 1950s and ’60s tiki craze, helped by Hawaiian bartender Harry Yee. For the most part, cocktail umbrellas are produced in China, and in order to save on costs, the manufacturers use newspaper as their materials. The little white cap at the very top of each tiny umbrella actually contains a small piece of Chinese newspaper. Just pop it off and unroll it. You'll likely see Chinese characters!
I'm a little skeptical...but, you can bet that I'll be checking the next time I get an umbrella drink! I bet you will too! 😂
Have an awesome weekend, ladies! 🥳
