Submit your store for a free public teardown
Hey everyone, Jeff here. Starting this week I am doing a free store teardown every Friday, right here in Profit Lab. Each week I pick one member store and walk through it the same way I would if you hired me. I look at the store on my phone first, then your best seller product page, then cart and checkout, then how ready your products are for Google Shopping. If you share your ad account numbers, I will look at those too. I finish with the top 3 fixes I would make first, ranked by impact. The teardown gets posted here in the group so everyone can learn from it, not just the store owner. That is the whole point. One store gets the review, and every member gets ideas they can use on their own store. How to submit Comment on this post with: 1. Your store URL 2. Your main product (the one you most want to sell more of) 3. Your rough average order value 4. Where your traffic comes from right now (Google Ads, Meta, organic, email, or not much yet) 5. Where you feel stuck, in a sentence or two Optional: if you want me to look at your Google Ads too, tell me in your comment and I will message you about what to share. Screenshots are fine, and you can blur anything you do not want public. How a store gets picked Each week I pick one store from the comments. I look for complete submissions and for the store where the lessons will help the most members. If you are not picked this week, your submission stays in the pool for the coming weeks, so you do not need to post it again. A couple of things to know The teardown is public inside the group, so only submit if you are comfortable with members seeing your store and my notes. I will never share your numbers outside Profit Lab. This is honest feedback meant to help, not to tear anyone down. Every store has fixes, mine included. Drop your store below and let's get to work.

Free product page teardowns (drop your link here)
If you run a Shopify store, this one's for you. Drop your product page link in the comments and I'll reply with a written teardown within 48 hours. I'll look at: - whether it's clear in 5 seconds who the product is for - the offer, the price framing, and how shipping is presented - the photos and the first screen on mobile - trust signals like reviews, guarantees, and returns - what I'd test first if it were my ad budget I've spent years running Google Ads for Shopify brands, and most of the wasted ad spend I've seen traced back to the page, not the traffic. With your link, add one line on what you sell and roughly how many visitors you get a month (a guess is fine). One product per person to start, and I'll get to every link.

🎯 Free Resource: The 15-Minute Conversion Audit
If you've never actually audited your own store for conversion leaks, start here. I put together the exact checklist I use when auditing a real Shopify store — 5 categories: checkout friction, product page trust signals, mobile experience, page speed, and cart abandonment recovery. No theory, no fluff. Pull up your store, go leak by leak, and walk away with a prioritized list of what to fix first. About 15 minutes if you're honest with yourself as you go. I'm putting this out free because the whole point of this group is fixing real leaks, not selling a course — if it helps you find even one thing to fix, it's done its job. 👉 Find it in the Classroom tab under "Start Here: Free Conversion Audit" or https://www.skool.com/shopify-profit-lab-4228/classroom/956eb67a?md=8fc0a88acf9f4c649ef7b9c2a21e3b8a Run it this week and drop what you found below — I'll help you prioritize what to fix first.

Let's talk gift shoppers 🎁 Plenty of Q4 shoppers are buying for someone else. Where are you at? 🅰️ My products are giftable and I'm already leaning into it 🅱️ They could be gifts, but I'm not showing that anywhere 🅲️ Not really a gift product Comment your letter. If you're in A, what are you doing? Gift guides, gift wrap, a gift note at checkout?

Tactical Tip
Today's tip: run your discount through the margin math before you announce it. Here's a made up example. Say a product sells for $50 and costs you $20 all in, with product, shipping and fees. That leaves $30, so your break even ROAS is about 1.67. Now run 20% off. The price is $40, you keep $20, and your break even ROAS jumps to 2.0. Same ads, same product, but you now need a higher ROAS just to not lose money. The Break Even ROAS calculator in the group does this for you if you plug in the sale price. Have you checked what your break even ROAS looks like at your Black Friday price?
