Soul?
Ps 42:11
“Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”
Psalms 42:11 AMP
Expectantly = desperately, eagerly, enthusiastically
Countenance = interest, benefit, well-being
Hope = someone being my source, my confidence
Do you ever address or talk to your soul? I do because of David’s example in this Psalm.
You can ask & say,
Soul why are you disquieted? (Worried, concerned, uptight, apprehensive ….?)
SOUL
HOPE
HOPE in God
SOUL
HOPE and wait expectantly, wait eagerly, wait enthusiastically
SOUL let’s HOPE and Praise
HOPE because Our God is the help of my interest, my benefit, my well-being
Thank you God that you care so wonderfully for my soul.
