Made multiple efforts in my head to not do this session this morning. Woke up late, debated staying in bed, sat in the car park at the track for 20mins. But got out & got it done, only regret the ones you don’t do! 🏃🏻 2k warm up 2k cool down

Don’t run without socks 💀
While teaching in 7 different locations on the other side of the planet sounds glamorous, Living out of a suitcase ain’t… My socks weren’t dry from the wash and I wanted it get some miles in I tried my trainers on without socks, It felt fine… Until it didn’t. 2km in, I could feel the rubbing on both feet But I continued 3km and I’m really started to feel my feet blister up But I continued 3.5km in and both feet have blistered up and ripped off inside my shoe But I continued At 4km I had to stop running, take my shoes off and walk home barefoot Perfect timing to get blistered feet when I had a full-body massage booked in the day after 👍 I told the lady: “Don’t touch my feet, I have blisters from running” I ask her to spend more time on my back, and she did. But it wasn’t long until she was working her way from my thighs to my calf’s, To my ankles… And on to my FUCKING FEET! Getting the oil all up in my blisters n shit. My own fault for not wearing socks on the run. Lesson learnt. The massage was still a success.
