Happy Sunday📖
🎤 Topic: LIVING TO MAKE DISCIPLES
Opening:Good morning, everyone! Today, I want us to think about a simple question: “Who do you influence with your life?”
Main Verse:Matthew 28:19:"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Key Message:This verse is called the Great Commission. It is Jesus’ last instruction to His followers, and it is not just for pastors or missionaries. It is for every believer, including us as students.
Making disciples does not have to be complicated. It starts with the people around us, our friends, classmates, and roommates. It is about living in a way that shows Christ through our words, actions, and choices, and helping others grow in their faith.
Jesus gives us three steps in this verse:
  1. Go Step out and connect with people intentionally
  2. Make Disciples Encourage, guide, and share your faith
  3. Baptize Help others commit to Christ, celebrating their new life
Supporting Thought:Acts 1:8 reminds us that we do not do this alone:"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth."
Even as students balancing school and life, we are empowered to influence others positively for Christ.
Interactive Questions:
  1. Who in your life right now might need to see Jesus through your actions?
  2. What small step can you take this week to encourage or mentor a friend spiritually?
  3. Have you ever shared your faith with someone before? How did it feel?
  4. Why do you think Jesus wants us to start disciple-making with the people close to us?
Practical Application:Pray for at least one friend you can encourage or share God’s love with this weekLook for small ways to reflect Christ, help a classmate, speak kindly, or share a testimony of how God has helped youRemember, disciple-making is more about influence than perfection
Closing Thought:Ask yourself: “Who needs to see Jesus through me today?”
If we all start small, with the people God has placed around us, we are already answering Jesus’ call to make disciples
Closing Prayer:“Lord, help us to live in a way that reflects You, to go and make disciples even in our school, and give us courage to share Your love with those around us. Amen.”
