I have so many things in my head right now lol
A Vegetarian said: "Of course I ate the cheese burger! It had a bun, vegetables and grass fed beef" <-^-> :O
Im extending one of my Modalities to a more full and robust version... filling in some steps and small gaps... Its a big course. Im always thinking on a 360 degree way to do things... I'll circle back to this one.
I've been doing some Renos on my place, small things and paying someone to do big things. We just got new windows and doors and now we (my 14 yr old and I) get to fill in where the windows were, redo part of the drop ceiling, paint and that whole thing, plus put our little shop back together. I hired a teenager to help with deep cleaning so I could get more other things done. Im excited to see progress here. I'll be navigating my embarrassment on the messyness so steps can be seen. I hope I can help others or at least offer up some "what not to do's" lol Just Sweep The Floors... (you'll understand as time moves forward)
I have a room of Doom Bags - Yes an entire ROOM of bags with stuff in them, purses that I took out my wallet found another bag and started over - multiple times. Organizing those and getting stuff done with them... Huge.
Craft Room - Same
Storage building - Same Same Same..
Basement - Thats right - SAME!!
Is it any wonder why I had to hire someone to help me by doing a deep clean (a normal surface cleaning afterwards) Can I afford it? Nope - but I will! I'll pick up a few extra clients, sell a couple things, have less meals while we travel - just to have enough to pay her.
I homeschool my son - so we get to learn alot of different things together... Suggestions and Offerings absolutely welcome! What does your 14 year need to know? What should they know? What do you wish you knew at 14? I didn't have a typical childhood so this is a new adventure for me as well lol
I'll be posting stuff as it comes. All questions, advice, and taunting is allowed! The "I wouldn't do it like that" followed by "Try this..." Totally welcome! Any videos I do of us painting, sorting (fast forward for the start, process and finishing area...) renos, and all the fun stuff!
Im also thinking about what colours I should paint things or buy stuff in... how do I want the outside to look as now it needs additional siding... what about the back area floors, should I do those too? when am I going to get the carpet out of the hallways and put in flooring? should I do the peel and stick or should I learn how to do the clip on laminate boards...
It can get overwhelming at times most definitely. Thats why were here... how do deal with it in short snippets. One Doom Bag at a time and before we know it - the room is done! Ive done it before so I know if can be done. One thing a day - one bag at a time - one event - one trip... Just Sweep the Floor.
