Philatelic Ephemera
This is something a little unusual that I picked up from the US a couple of years ago. I've sent it to Tasmanian Stamp Auctions and it's included in this month's sale.
This is their description:
"NEW SOUTH WALES · 1903: PMG's Department notepaper with c.t.o. 9d brown & ultra "Commonwealth" issue perf 12.25x12.5 SG 330 affixed · typed "With ...... compliments" and dated nearly a month before the day of issue!"
I bought it because it was different and I've never seen anything similar, and I only paid $12. The opening bid at auction is $200. I'll let you know how it goes!
