This moment of silence can be incredibly disheartening, making you question everything. I want you to know: this is normal, and it is part of the process. Let’s reframe the entire goal of your first month on Etsy. Your first 10, 20, or even 30 listings are not primarily for making sales. They are for gathering data. Think of yourself as a scientist running a series of small, low-stakes experiments. Every single listing is a new hypothesis. With each one, you are asking the Etsy ecosystem a question: Does this keyword work better than that one? Do customers click more on a lifestyle mockup or a clean, simple one?
