The 'Plan': Teach Myself Documentary Filmmaking
For months, friends have been telling me to use TikTok for my production company. And I think I've finally found a way to integrate it. I have a ton of ideas for short, visual-study documentaries. No human subjects, no interviews, no narration. Just images and sound. I think using TikTok to document me teaching myself how to make these, and developing a production process, from scouting, to scripting, to shooting, to editing, would be a cool use of the platform with good potential for cross-posting repurposing on social reels, YouTube, website, and Skool. Then, as I learn more, I can branch out, start looking for funding for bigger and bigger projects. Anybody seen/done this type of thing before? Any feedback or advice?
