This blessed me, and I wanted to pass it on. 🙏🏾 Your mind is listening to you. What we continually think about, speak about and focus on matters. That’s one reason Scripture tells us: “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 KJV And Philippians 4:8 reminds us to deliberately think on the things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and praiseworthy. ❤️ 💡 What we repeatedly focus on can become easier to think about, speak about and act upon. So let’s be intentional about what we are feeding our minds. Instead of continually rehearsing what went wrong, what we fear, what we lack, or what we haven’t done yet, let’s keep bringing our thoughts back to God, His Word, gratitude, obedience, hope and the NEXT RIGHT THING. 🙌🏾 I especially loved this reminder: “You fall in love with what you FOCUS on / KEEP FOCUSING on.” That goes both ways! I was just pondering to do some confessions and this suddenly occurred to me and am trusting God to help me daily confess even if in part.
