Welcome to The Hallway, the place you stop before you step into your next level. Here is where newcomers gather to breathe, share ideas, talk through struggles, and find the community they’ve been praying for. Even if you’re not inside the courses yet, you’re not walking alone. In The Hallway, we swap resources, encourage one another, and build real strength together. My promise is simple: I will keep this space alive, intentional, and full of Kingdom-minded support so you always have a place to grow while you’re on the way to your next room. Vote: Has God given you a Kingdom assignment to operate digitally and physically?

"Eye Brows Before Breakthrough"
Yesterday was supposed to be a simple business meeting. But something whispered before I left the house: "Crystal… put on your eyebrows. Add a little foundation." Not vanity. Preparation. Because when the Lord is elevating you, you don't always get a calendar invite for the next level. You don't always know who will be in the room. You don't always know whose hand you'll shake. You don't always know when your name will be called. We arrived thinking it was a meeting. Suddenly, my business partner says, "Oh, by the way… we're recording a podcast." Pause. "And Crystal, you're the guest." Shock. Silence. Processing. Within minutes, we were setting up to record on the Digital Faith Frequency podcast with @Bakari Kamal discussing African-American women in business. @Johnnessa White And in that moment, I understood why I needed those eyebrows. Lol! It wasn't about makeup. It was about being ready. >> Marketplace Lesson: When you are in a season of elevation, Stay ready. Don't ever think any invite is small! Because what carry is BIG!! The room can shift. The schedule can shift. The opportunity can shift. And you don't get to rehearse the calling when God calls your name. The Word says when you open your mouth, He will fill it. Psalm 81:10 So don't obsess over what you're going to say. Prepare your spirit. Prepare your mind. Prepare your presence. Because Kingdom moments don't always announce themselves. >> Activation Assignment Start rehearsing Scripture out loud. Take John 3:16 and: - Say it aloud. - Repeat it. - Call someone and declare it over them. - Record yourself praying it. - Speak it over your children. - Turn it into an encouragement vlog. Why? Because when the platform opens Fear will not control you. Preparation will. You will speak boldly because you practiced trusting God before the spotlight ever hit you. Trust me I'm living this out now!! This has been your School of Fish News

📚 Real Moment From Today’s Networking Event… Today I was at a book signing + networking event. I interviewed several authors who were selling their books. I told each one: “I’m a videographer. I’d love to connect on Instagram. I’m going to piece these clips together and tag you so more people can discover your work.” By the fourth author, I got a different response. She said, “Oh… I’m not really on social media.” And she declined the interview. Let that sit for a second. You’re at a book signing. You wrote a book. You’re selling a product. But you don’t want visibility. That means: - I will probably never see her again. - No one beyond that room will know about her book. - Her reach stays limited to friends and family. And instead of getting frustrated, I realized something deeper… This is why some entrepreneurs stay hidden. Not because they aren’t talented. Not because they don’t have something valuable. But because they are uncomfortable with visibility. 🚨 Visibility Is Not Vanity — It’s Responsibility Especially in our African-American community. If we don’t connect… If we don’t network… If we don’t document… Our solutions stay small. Your book is not just a book. Your business is not just a business. Your story is not just a story. It’s a solution. And solutions deserve to be seen. 🎥 The Hard Truth You cannot build impact in isolation. Networking isn’t optional. Social media isn’t “extra.” Visibility isn’t ego. It’s distribution. And distribution multiplies influence. 🧠 Community Question: Be honest… What are some of your fears about: - Having an online presence? - Showing up on video? - Networking with strangers? - Being seen consistently?
