Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve been feeling a pull toward a shift for a long time. It sat quietly in the background of my life — a nudge, a whisper, a knowing that something in me was ready for more. For years I couldn’t quite name the direction. I only knew that life was asking me to slow down, listen, and pay attention. And then, as it usually does, life led me exactly where I need to be. I was born to teen parents and raised in a life that wasn’t always easy, but I always felt loved. It taught me perseverance, grit, and a deep understanding of what it means to grow through the hard seasons. I’ve been a proud teacher since 2009, a role that has shaped me, stretched me, and taught me the power of connection, compassion, and resilience. I am a devoted wife and mother, navigating the beautiful, chaotic, heart-expanding world of family. I’ve lived a life of mountains and valleys, the kind of path that forces you to continually reflect, rebuild, and rise again. I’m resilient. I’m soft. I’m human. And I’m ready. This space — Savour the Season — is where I’m choosing to honour the beautiful chapter I’m in. It’s a place for honest stories, emotional truth, feminine rhythms, and the quiet, steady work of becoming our authentic selves. I’ll be writing about the seasons we move through as women: the shifts, the cycles, the awakenings, the heartbreaks, the joy, the heaviness, the hope, and the moments we choose ourselves first. If you’ve ever felt the tug for something more — more alignment, more meaning, more presence, more honesty — you’re in the right place. Let’s savour this season together. Thank you for being here. — Lacey
