Transition Philosophy
I'm interested to hear what people are doing in transition in regards to pitching the ball ahead when possible (not necessarily behind the last defender - creating potentially a 1on1 in space, 2on1, etc) vs only pitching ahead when behind the last defender for a 9.
Traditionally, I've pitched ahead whenever it would create a numbers advantage but I am trying to challenge some of my 'old habits'. Race and Space wouldn't align with my previous transition philosophy and I'm struggling with which direction to go with this one. Anyone? thoughts?
