Think of an AI Prompt like giving instructions to someone helping you.
It's literally just the question or instruction you give to an AI tool like ChatGPT.
Here's how it works — you already do this every day:
☕ Like ordering coffee from a barista:
"I'll have a large oat milk latte, extra hot, with one pump of vanilla"
→ The barista makes exactly what you asked for
🍽️ Like telling a waiter your preferences:
"I'd like the salmon, but no butter, with extra vegetables instead of rice"
→ The waiter brings you exactly what you need
🏋️ Like instructing your personal trainer:
"Design a workout plan for me — 3 days a week, low impact, focusing on strength"
→ Your trainer creates the perfect plan
