Just wanted to give an update. For those who have seen my latest post, my family and I have an adventure planned! So for the last 8 months my family and I have been working hard. My husband has enrolled in training for his journeyman Electrical license and his EPA 608. Well May 19th we are watching my husband receive his certificate of completion along with his license for both journeyman and EPA 608. Not only has my husband completed his training but he has competed in the SkillsUSA championship competition and has won the regional and state competitions. Since my husband is going to Nationals in Atlanta, GA for the SkillsUSA, the children and I have decided to travel along, have a much needed vacation, and join him at the awards ceremony! His trip there and back is paid for. Ours is not! So we have asked for donations so that we can enjoy this wonderful 5 day adventure! Since the first time we asked, we have received the funds for the cost of the stay. Man who knew traveling expenses were so much! So we can go down with my husband and stay in a hotel awaiting his award ceremony. We are still asking for just a little more so we can cover the cost of memories for the children. On most vacations families are able to visit tourist attractions and make memories doing or going to a fun place, so we would like to do the same for our children. Since my husband has been in school, he has not been able to work. So our income was unemployment, and savings. Our savings are running out and he is not expected to go back to the workforce till after the National competition! So, like I said we are asking for donations to cover activities and to put back into our savings! We thank all who have already given their support. All praise though must go to the Most! For it was HE who gave us the opportunity, for it was HE who strengthened us and gave us rest when we needed it. Thank you, Lord for the financial support already given and we ask for just a little more. You see our hearts and our obedience in learning your path for us! Help us celebrate to the fullest as we finish this chapter and move to the next in life! In Jesus name, Amen Amen
