I'm Tara and my hope is that here you'll find a safe space to explore how AI can help you grow in your current career, land a new job, or start your own business. For the past couple of years, I've watched so many people on LinkedIn lose their jobs and hit walls trying to find new ones. Whether it's ageism, AI, or the myriad other forces at play, the end is result is not feeling seen, not being able to support yourself or your family, or perhaps losing your sense of purpose. These feelings are gut-wrenching. I know because I've been there. I’ve spent the last two years learning everything I could about using AI not just personally, but for businesses, nonprofits, and local governments. I‘ve I earned certifications from Google, Microsoft, and AI Leadership Institute. I became a Microsoft AI Champion for Nonprofits. I completed a rigorous Train-the-AI Trainer certification. (You can see the full list on my LinkedIn profile.) At 62, I bring a different energy than the "young tech-bro" vibe that dominates this space. Nothing wrong with that vibe—think of it like a rockin' Metallica concert, which was FUN back in the day. But these days? I'm more Lionel Richie's "Easy Like Sunday Morning." So I decided to take everything I've learned about adult education, leadership, communication, and sales and create a supportive learning community where I can help others use AI to find their next path and succeed.
