When you are dealing with a Type A personality. Someone who is more direct and wants everything upfront. You can't just rely on your word & they won't either.
You need to have "social proof" on hand to demonstrate the effectiveness of your product. Personality Type A is a "no B.S." leadership; they have proven their ability to yield results.
You will feel like you are being attacked, which is a tactic low-level salespeople often resort to, inflating the drama.
Veterans, however, understand that this is just a style of persona, usually found in successful men or those with military backgrounds.
Using social proof, being unphased and slightly more determined than they are. You can close the deal & make a great friend in the process.
I tend to vibe really well with Type A personalities but I can't say the same for my colleagues.
How do you deal with Type A personalities?
Do you believe that social proof is enough to win them over or do you have something else in mind?
