19 years ago I walked out onto a construction site as a trainee dogman for Leighβs construction prior to the joint venture of Mackay-Leighβs demolition when Chch was shaken by the earthquakes . It very these past 19 years I have worked on numerous sites around Aotearoa and I have learnt a lot when it comes to chasing the hook as a rigger/dogman , but also I have gained a lot of experience and qualified as a rigger/dogman & qualifications for mobile crane operations & tower crane operations. From demolition to bridge builds and complex lifts I said to myself why do I do this everyday getting up early hours of the morning going to work in the dark & coming home in the dark. Well such as life this is what we do when we chase our dreams and turn them into a reality, I always dreamed of running my own small business and making something out of my career and the things I have been taught and learnt over the years , so I settled in 2020 and decided itβs time to go out there on my own and see what I can make of my dreams . 5 years and still going strong SDAYRIGGING is still small but I am happy that way , to my amazing bestfriend @louise Watson for taking time out of her day to design and present me with my business cards this is something I never thought I would see in life but she aced it π―π―π― and I couldnβt be anymore proud of Lou πͺπΌβ€οΈπ―. My business logo and design was built through Louise also and then I took those designs to a print shop and when I received the product I was in happy tears seeing my design on a branded piece of clothing for the first time something again I thought I would never even dream of. They say good things come to those who wait in life, I say that quote is 100% true , you can and you will do better & you can turn any dream into a reality, its about the mindset you set for yourself and the standard
