Destination races
Next weekend I'll be travelling to New York to run the Brooklyn half marathon (I won an entry through their lottery ๐Ÿ™‚). This will be my first time flying somewhere for a race and I was wondering what tips and tricks I should be aware of, to make sure I give myself the best chance of running a decent race.
We are flying in on Friday midday, race is on Saturday morning. I'm bringing my own pre-race meal (packet oatmeal) and all my gels etc. We will only have carry-on luggage so I won't be able to bring too many liquids etc.
Ideas?
