Next weekend I'll be travelling to New York to run the Brooklyn half marathon (I won an entry through their lottery ๐). This will be my first time flying somewhere for a race and I was wondering what tips and tricks I should be aware of, to make sure I give myself the best chance of running a decent race.
We are flying in on Friday midday, race is on Saturday morning. I'm bringing my own pre-race meal (packet oatmeal) and all my gels etc. We will only have carry-on luggage so I won't be able to bring too many liquids etc.
Ideas?
