For more than 30 years, I've built my career at the intersection of music, technology, media, and creativity—first as a creator, then as an operator, and increasingly as a builder.
My journey began in Hip-Hop culture. I was a b-boy before becoming a scratch DJ and producer, inspired by recognizing records from my dad's collection through sampling. That curiosity led me into the music industry during one of its most transformative eras.
At MP3.com, I curated Urban, Hip-Hop, and R&B content while managing label relationships with Sony, Def Jam, Virgin, and Interscope during the early days of digital music. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for both the creative and business sides of the industry, and I've maintained strong relationships with DJs, artists, label representatives, and creators ever since.
