Jack Ruch and Melodic Soloing
What do you guys think about his ideas?
Have you guys ever tried doing anything like this?
Would this be a cool mini-challenge? Like just take two chords, G and C and using the advice from the video, build an interesting melodic or scale line to target the E on the chord change?
And for those that want an added challenge, maybe do the same, but add displaced octaves…and maybe add embellishments to the chord, a Gmaj9 and a C6 for example…. Both use the A note by the way!
