Post About My Uncle Kevin
Unfortunately, we lost my uncle this week due to him having cardiac and pulmonary arrest on Sunday. I wrote this today. "Right before we took my uncle Kevin off life support yesterday afternoon, they took him on a "hero's walk" since he was donating his liver and kidneys. It was a beautiful ceremony as the chaplain led the way, raising a beautifully crafted wooden cross and quoting Psalm 23. At least 20 doctors and nurses stood on both sides of the hallway as we passed. We then took time to say our individual goodbyes. I told Kevin it wasn't the end for him, but only the beginning, and that God would be at the gates of heaven to welcome him home. As we waited peacefully, a nurse named Micah Hare from Legacy of Hope encouraged us with Scripture and reminders to remember Kevin's life. Tears were inevitably shed as the doctor came in about half an hour later to tell us Kevin had passed peacefully. But we were all grateful that he did not struggle and that he was finally at rest. Death is a strange thing. We know it's coming and eternity awaits, but we often don't want to embrace its reality until it actually happens to someone we love. But what we do with these occurrences is what's most important. The past few days, I've been listening to Switchfoot's new album, Forever Now. As he often does, lead singer Jon Foreman explores death, but also a yearning to live well, and that's no different on this record. I'm more encouraged to not take my life and those around me for granted. We are not promised tomorrow. Today is the most important day of our lives. So let's make it a beautiful life. https://youtu.be/qv_txd1RTrw?si=_bOua20B3j8HKpqA

Roast my Invitation: You may already have videos that are ready for a bigger place to work.
Some video content is doing more than getting views. It is building trust, creating client results, opening doors, and positioning you as someone people want to learn from, hire, collaborate with, or follow more closely. For the right creator, one next step can be placing that content onto streaming TV. Success there looks different for different people. For some, it means more authority. For others, it means new clients, better collaborations, sponsor interest, wider reach, or new ways to make money. In BloomingVoices Streaming TV Community, members can get put their videos to work in a wider audience quickly, or discover if they're ready, or learn what it takes to succeed so they can put plans in place. I'm Curious: What would a bigger platform do for your message or business? What would change if you could collaborate with more successful people? What difference would it make if sponsors sought you out? What else would be possible if you could create new revenue streams with existing videos?
