No going back now (race signup report)
As a recumbent rider, I don't get to enter many races unless I want to travel 2000 or more miles each time. Most races exclude me because the governing body only allows UCI legal bikes. So I'm typically limited to only Ultras, I've done 500+ mile ones as a team, and I've done 2 200 milers - one of them pan flat (scored 221 miles), and the other was just this past October, which I DNF'd. I didn't want to sign up for one this early in the year, but you take what you can get. This will be the first one I've done where I've been coached. I have 6 weeks to train. Wish me luck and give me any tips you feel might help! Hope especially @Anthony Walsh and @Sarah Egan since I know they've experienced the highs and lows that come with this kind of race! Here's the link if you want to know more or sign up yourself! It's 203 miles, 11,000 feet of climbing. https://www.raamchallenge.com/races
